Anthony Hobgood
Senior Director of Performance
Anthony Hobgood is the senior director of performance at Exos’ Florida facility. Since joining Exos in 2008 he’s coached and educated a variety of clients, including NFL veterans, Olympic track and field athletes, members of the United States military special operations, and MLB, MLS, collegiate, and youth athletes. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and pursuing outdoor activities. Anthony has a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University of Mississippi, where he was a member of the football team. He also holds a master’s degree in exercise science from the University of West Florida. Anthony is a certified strength and conditioning specialist.
Austin Pereira
Performance Lead
Austin Pereira first came to Exos as an intern in 2017. In 2019 he joined Exos full time as a performance specialist. He’s passionate about working with youth athletes and teaching and progressing fundamental movement patterns while reducing injury risk for clients. Outside of work Austin enjoys hiking, going to the beach, traveling, and playing sports with his wife, dog, and friends. He has a bachelor’s degree in exercise and sports science from Nova Southeastern University, where he played baseball, and a master’s degree in applied physiology and kinesiology from the University of Florida.
Woody Thompson
Performance Coach
Woody Thompson, an Exos Performance Specialist at our Gulf Breeze location, brings a wealth of expertise in human performance. With a Master's degree in Exercise Science from the University of West Florida and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of the Cumberlands, Woody is well-equipped to tackle the challenges of his field. Woody's journey into sports science began during his collegiate years, where he excelled both academically and athletically, participating in football and track. His firsthand experience as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of West Florida and an intern with the University of Tennessee Football S&C program has honed his skills in designing tailored training programs. Woody's dedication to excellence and passion for helping athletes achieve their goals make him an invaluable asset to the Exos team, ensuring that athletes receive top-notch guidance and support on their journey to peak performance. He holds both a CSCS and ACSM-EP certifications.

Hayley Charlton PT, DPT, OCS
Physical Therapy Manager
Hayley Charlton joined the Exos team as a Performance Physical Therapist in 2022. She previously had been with the company as an intern in 2018 where her love for physical therapy with high level athletes and Military personnel grew. Hayley has always had a passion for athletics, having played Division 1 soccer at the University of Wyoming, but she was introduced to the Tactical Athlete experience while at Exos. Following graduation with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis, Hayley pursued completion of an Orthopedic Residency at the James A Haley VA Hospital where she became certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and enhanced her skills working with Tactical Athletes. Now, being at Exos Gulf Breeze, Hayley enjoys the best of both worlds sharing her passion with both military and high-level athletes. Hayley believes in using movement as the primary driver in her physical therapy practice. She believes that optimizing movement is the key to any person's success in improving performance as well as reducing risk of injury. When not at the Gulf Breeze Facility, Hayley enjoys spending time with her husband and her Corgi traveling the world, visiting family, seeing friends and reaching their goal of seeing a baseball game in every stadium across the US.
Gaddiel Reyes, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist

Dr. Gaddiel Reyes, PT, DPT, is a Physical Therapist and Navy Veteran with over 10 years of experience in high-pressure healthcare settings. Shortly after growing up in Southern California, he served as a Navy corpsman for 6 years. Dr. Reyes has managed an Urgent Care clinic, worked as a Combat Trauma Instructor, and held roles as a Command Fitness Leader and Strength and Conditioning Programmer. He has also completed three clinical rotations in rehabilitation and human performance. Dr. Reyes graduated summa cum laude at his doctorate of Physical Therapy program from South College in Knoxville, Tennessee. Specializing in human performance, Dr. Reyes enjoys treating musculoskeletal conditions of the hip, spine, and shoulders. His goal is to empower patients with the tools and knowledge they need to regain control of their lives. He enjoys listening to podcasts like Andrew Huberman and The Undaunted Life. In his free time, Dr. Reyes loves spending time with family, surfing, rock climbing, playing volleyball, exploring new restaurants, and training.

Senior Nutrition Specialist
Jana Mason joined Exos in 2015. She’s passionate about educating others on how to excel in their sport through how they fuel their bodies, and she thrives in a team environment. In her free time Jana enjoys running, lifting, playing sports, and going to the beach for standup paddleboarding and sunshine. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in nutrition and food systems from the University of Southern Mississippi, where she played on the women’s soccer team.
